Aquatic Park

This was a fun course. Aquatic Park surrounds a small branch of the San Francisco Bay and runs parallel to I-80. There are intesting views of the bay with I-80 and nearby Emeryville in the background. The course goes through the park for the front 9 and back the other way for the back 9. Some of the baskets are used both ways.

The course is not too challenging. There are some chances for birdie, but some of the shots are very challenging. On some, you have to tee off right along side of the water, and they call the tee shot on 10 the "Dunk Tank". I'm not sure of the distance, but the shot requires you to throw a long drive across the water. If you make it, you will have a easy birdie. If you don't, say good-bye to your disc. I took the chicken route and played around the water hazard and settled for a bogey.
