July 4th & 5th, 2009

We had a wonderful treat this year for our July 4th weekend, because we were visted by some of our family from Nevada. Everyone showed up at our place on the 4th. We had turkey burgers and went to Barnes Park to watch a spectacular fireworks display. I kept thinking of that song by Chicago. "Saturday, in the park. I think it was the 4th of July." My wife and I ended the evening by sleeping in our tent, while we turned our home over to our guests.

On the 5th, we all went to Knott's Berry Farm. We got scared, we got wet, and bandits held up our train. What a great time.
